The very concept of athleticism is not limited to only professional athletes; it is more of a lifelong skill that everyone should cultivate, regardless of age. It builds harmony between the mind and the body. Athleticism is more than just physical activity; it is a balanced blend of strength, agility and endurance. The sports week, held from the 10th to the 17th of December, 2025 at RCMB aimed at building synergy between the mind and the body, fostering holistic development and providing a break from routine academic activities.

The sports week at RCMB perfectly represented the balanced blend of these qualities. The kickstart began with a huge adrenaline rush, overflowing energy, excitement and joy. There were outdoor as well indoor games. The outdoor games comprised cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and throwball, while the indoor games comprised chess and table tennis. The students were divided into groups and more than a competition, the events showcased raw athletic fire. Every move carried a roar of victory. Cricket is everyone’s favourite sport and with every four or six, the crowd went wild with excitement. Football, basketball, volleyball, badminton and throwball were more strategy-driven games, reminding us that endurance plays a huge role. Chess and table tennis reminded us that sharp minds are just as important as strong muscles. The sports events were conducted after hectic classes and proved to be a refreshing escape while still inculcating lifelong skills. What makes these events different from others is that nobody needs to be perfect in every aspect—they just need to participate actively.RCMB rightly provides this opportunity to its students, encouraging them to engage in such activities, helping them stay positive and happy while simultaneously imparting management education in diverse forms—in this case, management through sports.
