An integration of intellect, artistry and athleticism, IVARA held on the 13th and 14th of February, 2026 was a celebration of thoughts, creativity, passion and energy. IVARA is a name of German origin which actually means an archer symbolizing power and excellence. Along with its management, cultural and sports fest, IVARA aimed to foster holistic development, providing a platform to showcase talents and build community bonds. It created an opportunity where people connected with each other, learnt from their peers, created unforgettable memories and treasured a wonderful time.
A break from academic pressure, IVARA taught us a lot more than textbooks ever could. Rooted in strength and driven by excellence, let’s see how IVARA showed up!
Preparations for IVARA began weeks in advance with proper planning with students forming different committees for handling the registration process, the logistics, hospitality, decoration, etc. There were constant meetings with the management and rehearsals to make sure every activity went in accordance with the other. Innovative themes for the management and the cultural events were decided. From arranging the décor and sponsorships to coordinating with the participants, every student was engaged with a lot of enthusiasm.
And the BIG DAY arrived!
Starting off with the first day, participants from various colleges had registered for different events including management, cultural and sports. The inauguration ceremony began with addressing the participants, sponsors, faculty members and students of the RCMB fraternity. All the management participants were then guided to their respective rooms for the HR, digital marketing and start-up events. The HR event captured the raw talent of the students pushing them to blend sharp instincts with modern HR tricks. The digital marketing event tested the understanding of customer behaviour and demanded the launch of buzz-worthy campaigns and scroll-stopping content. The start-up event unveiled new challenges requiring students to craft rock-solid business plans, crunch numbers and unleash the next unicorn. The sports track ignited passion and showcased raw athletic fire. The crowd could feel the roar of victory in every move. With cricket, football and volleyball adding unmatched energy, the sports fest nailed it! As the day progressed, the stage came alive with vibrant cultural events. The solo songs poured in melody and were absolutely mesmerizing. The rangoli event added shades of hue which celebrated life and redefined traditional art forms. As the evening set in, a stunning fashion show added charm and energy to the event that captivated everyone. What an incredible lineup of talents it was! The energy, the passion and the hard work were truly unmatched! Day 1 created an atmosphere of creativity, innovation, high energy and a sense of belonging, which was carried forward into the second day as well.
Day 2 started off with the same enthusiasm. The final rounds of all the events were held on the second day. The management and the sports track progressed towards their completion. The cultural track for the second day consisted of the solo and the group dance competition. The stage was once again lively and filled with vigour. Truly honoured to have hosted such a competition, everyone was completely awestruck, as every move was smooth and effortless. The sports track continued until dusk.
And then the moment arrived for which everyone had been waiting—the valedictory ceremony!
The calmness of the evening was slowly turning into buzzing anticipation and all the participants were seated in the amphitheatre. The ceremony was graced by our Founder and President, Dr. S.R. Mandal, our Vice-President, Mrs. Chaina Mandal and our junior Vice-President, Mr. Jai Mandal. All the external judges were felicitated for their valuable contribution to the event. The winners and runners-up for all the events were then felicitated and awarded with certificates and cash prizes. We also took a moment to recognize and appreciate all the talents, efforts and hard work put in by all the students in making this event successful. The evening couldn’t have been more perfect; this made it feel like a memory we all will treasure for a lifetime.
Some things are best enjoyed when the wait is worthwhile! IVARA, you will always be in our hearts!
