The celebration of Saraswati Puja—the worship of the goddess of wisdom, knowledge and arts, is one of the most awaited events in our college calendar. On the 23rd of January, 2026, a dewy morning amidst the fresh fragrance of marigolds, our campus was lit with laughter and excitement for Saraswati Puja. The campus was beautifully decorated with flowers and rangolis. The auspicious day began with the aarti, where all the students and faculty members gathered with closed eyes, joined hands and open hearts. The idol of Maa Saraswati represented serenity, prosperity and truthfulness. The rhythmic chanting of the mantras was way more than mere devotion—it represented peace and purpose and gently took away all our undue stress of exams and studies. After the completion of the rituals, the environment was filled with positivity and high energy that lasted throughout the day. The aromatic khichdi prasad was utterly delicious. Everyone was delighted and enjoyed the day.
Saraswati Puja is not just a celebration—it embodies the cultural ethos of seeking enlightenment. Maa Saraswati blesses us not only with wisdom and knowledge but also gives us the courage to rise above everything that holds us back. Reverence for gods and goddesses represents our cultural heritage and the Regional College of Management, Bangalore rightly blends management education with learning, fun and laughter, reflecting its legacy.
